Let it Snow!
Mother Nature has reared its ugly head, or, shall I say openly unleashed her full force, showing that when it snows, it really snows?
For the past few days, NYC has been blanketed in a thick white layer, where for the second time this year, we were generously showered with the "white fluffy stuff" seeing up to 8-10 inches of snow in some areas. There's just something magical about the soft snowflakes falling and gently pelting your face. It's no secret that I love the snow, the first day in particular, before it gets messy and turns into a black slushy mix making you not want to escape the confines of your home. The closest thing to a winter wonderland here in NYC is actually going to a park where you can observe the vast landscape in an endless canvas of snow and seeing the icicles gently hang off the tree branches.
But what do you do when life gives you snow? You make snow-balls right? For a snow fanatic like me, whether indoors or outdoors, it's really exciting how much you can do, so why should there ever be a cold, dull or dreary moment?
If you are not a part of the action in the belly of the snow, there's no denying how awesome it is to just be warm and comfy in your home. For one thing, I also relish the sight of simply looking out my windows and watch the soft flakes fall, and with each dance, eventually conceding to the force of gravity. And if you're lucky enough to have a day off work, why not have the best snow day ever?
Here are some things to do while cheerfully singing "Let it snow, let it snow......"

The thought of a snow-storm can be a nightmare for many, interfering with your daily flow of activities, not to mention having to brave the frigid temperatures that come with the package. But how about finding the beauty and extracting a joyous moment? Ask any child about the endless possibilities like making snow-balls, snow-men, snow-angels, sledding or just simply letting go and playing in the snow.
And if skiing in the mountains isn't on your to-do list, head indoors and let the fun begin, where you can gaze out your windows and fully behold the magnificence of the snow.
