Lemon-Ginger Carrot Juice
By Alecia James, January 15, 2018
It's 2018, and I've been juicing! Here I'm sharing a super-simple three ingredient juice recipe. Growing up, I always consumed carrot juice mixed with milk and dragon stout, a rather interesting recipe, but I didn't know that it could be had without any added sugar or milk.
But looking back, I realized that then, my family would usually extract the carrot juice by blending, a method that would yield a different product altogether, as blending necessitates adding water or some other liquid, to the raw ingredient, then straining to remove the pulp. Hence the need to restore some semblance of flavor by adding different sweeteners.
However, the great thing about juicing carrots, is that you're able to extract the liquid in its pure form, which is naturally sweet. With this recipe, there is no need to dilute with water, and no added sugars are needed. The lemon and the ginger add the right amount of zing, and we all know the great powerhouse that ginger is.
Anyways, I will talk to you guys soon as I hope to create more awesome recipes this year.
Enjoy the recipe and give it a try!
