Flavorful & Wonderful Jamaican Steamed Fish.
by Alecia James Thursday, February 13, 2014
'Tis the night before Valentine's Day, and here I am, bringing last Sunday's dinner to the limelight because it was *that* great. And when you have fallen in love with food all over again, you'll see why it's okay to toot your own horn. My love affair with appetizing dishes has taken me on a thrilling exploration to try so many different concoctions in my kitchen, but currently, my Jamaican delights remain at the top of my list. They are a combination of tasty, spicy, flavorful and mouth-watering. On last Sunday's menu in CreativeAjay's kitchen was Jamaican steamed fish, commonly prepared whole, and gloriously garnished with herbs and vegetables. If you cannot stand the spice of this dish, then "get out of the kitchen."
What You'll Need
****** you can use butter or margarine as a replacement.
How to Prepare and Cook.
Can't you tell how delighted I am with the outcome? I used brown rice as a side dish, but another fave that goes well with this is Jamaican tough crackers. Savor and enjoy every bite. Until next time from Creative Ajay's kitchen, "Eat Good."
