DIY: How I Re-purposed a Simple Cardboard Box.

When you make occasional visits to Pinterest, and see the endless number of crafty and eye-catching DIY projects, you are suddenly transformed into a hoarder, creatively concocting a new plan for every empty container, jar or empty box that has ever crossed your field of vision. You cling on for dear life, not wanting to part ways with any of these items, the source of a potentially useful product that would have otherwise gone to waste.
So when I removed my microwave from its awesome packaging, I knew there was no way this box was going to end up in the recycling pile. I had better plans. I had most of the materials for my transformation with the exception of the fabric which was really a "steal" at a fabric store for only $2 per yard. (A material that is slightly thicker and sturdier than average will work well for this activity.)
